Bubzkji replaced JUGI in Astralis CS:GO roster

The Denmark international, Lucas "Bubzkji" Andersen has joined Astralis CS:GO roster. He replaced JUGI, who has spent in Astralis only 2.5 months.

Kasper Hvidt, Director of Sports has shared on twitter, that Bubzkji signed a 2-year deal with Danish stars. This is one of the biggest transfers of the year so far. The former MAD Lions player has shown superb performance at online tournaments. According to hltv data, Bubzkji has 1.10 rating averaging 0.71 kills per round.

As a result, Astralis currently has 7 players and coach zonic in the roster. However, Xyp9x and gla1ve have taken some time off the professional Counter-Strike scene. There is no exact date when the legendary Denmark players will come back but many predict that they will be back with the return of LAN events. Thus, the current Astralis CS:GO roster is as follows:

Nicolai Hvilshøj “dev1ce” Reedtz

Peter Rothmann “dupreeh” Rasmussen

Emil Hoffmann “Magisk” Reif (Captain)

Patrick “es3tag” Hansen

Lucas “Bubzkji” Andersen

Andreas “Xyp9x” Højsleth (Inactive)

Lukas Egholm “gla1ve” Rossander (Inactive)

Danny “zonic” Sørensen (Coach)

As every major CS:GO team, Astralis is now enjoying the summer holidays. The team will resume training, starting from August 3. Astralis will compete at ESL One Cologne 2020 – Europe which will be held online from August 18 till August 30.
