Dota 2 Major Events & Tournaments

Dota 2 has a chain of Major and Minor events which run throughout the season and culminate in The International. To properly conduct rankings and invites for Major and TI, Valve introduced Dota Pro Circuit (DPC). Nowadays DPC events are the most significant in Dota 2 season as every team needs to collect the points for TI invitation. Apart from that there are lots of commercial Major and Minor tournaments that may have bigger prize pool but do not award DPC points.
