OG has called it the day for OG Seeds
OG Seed journey started after The International 2019. The main team made a decision to take an extended break from professional Dota 2 stage, meanwhile mentoring the other Dota 2 team, sharing the knowledge and winning attitude.
While OG was aware that they cannot feature two rosters in TI10, OG Seeds were substituting the main team in major and minor tournaments this season. With the postponement of The International 10 and changing the format of the rest of the season, it became clear that two Dota 2 rosters under one organization create a conflict of interests.
“We worked with other teams and Tournament Organizers to try to find a solution, but despite our efforts, we realized that it was still probably a little too soon to try to properly implement multi-team ownership.” - OG official website.
The big OG is back. As these two teams cannot compete in the same tournament, OG Seed will be released on July 1, 2020. The management is already searching for a new home for all the players.
OG Seed roster which we will remind forever:
Rasmus Johan “Chessie” Blomdin
Omar Mohammad “Madara” Dabachach
Andreas Per “Xibbe” Ragnemalm
Zakari William Lee “Zfreek” Freedman
Peetu-Elmeri “Peksu” Väätäinen
