Let’s be real here, both Astralis and G2 have come into this event hoping to hoist the trophy in the end. Obviously, the community shared the expectations with Astralis – they’re the heavy favorites and no team could’ve contested their spot before the start of the event. But, as far as notable contestants go, G2 belongs to the list of prime candidates alongside NaVi. The CIS champions already fell down to the lower bracket, with G2 hoping to seize their opportunity and kick Astralis down there too.
