Build Aeon ★ Aha around 150 SPD, reliable Wishpower generation, and an Elation carry who takes frequent turns. A larger CRIT DMG number will not fix a late first Ultimate. Faces of Elation unlocks additional effects for Elation teammates and enables Punchline recycling. The separate Elation Debt passive also rewards team damage without requiring the Ultimate state.
V1 preview: Numbers and interactions may change before release. The builds and opening sequences below are theorycrafting recommendations, not verified clear-time benchmarks.
Aeon ★ Aha Build at a Glance
Aha is a five-star Quantum character on the Path of Elation. Start with Dreamlit Actor and God's Moment of Joy, a CRIT Rate body, and SPD boots. Use defensive planar main stats while finding enough SPD and CRIT substats to support the rotation.
Level Aha to 80. Elation DMG explicitly uses character level, Elation, and the Punchline value taken into account. Aha's listed attacks deal Elation DMG, which is not affected by ordinary DMG Boost effects. A Quantum DMG sphere therefore does not improve those attacks through its main stat, and the kit does not provide an ATK conversion that would make an ATK rope the default.
How Wishpower and Faces of Elation Work
Aha needs 8 Wishpower to use the Ultimate. Although the character sheet displays a maximum resource of 8, this is a special resource with specific gain conditions. Do not calculate the rotation as though Aha has an ordinary eight-point Energy bar.
- Aha's actions: Basic ATK, Skill, and Elation Skill each grant 1 Wishpower after use.
- The designated ally's turns: Skill applies Emanator of Elation to one ally. At the start of that ally's turn, Aha gains 1 Wishpower.
- The Punchline threshold: Reaching 40 team Punchline triggers 1 Wishpower and a three-turn, 24% team CRIT DMG buff. The trigger becomes available again after the Aha Instant turn ends; this is not one Wishpower for every 40 Punchline generated without a reset.
- Teammate healing or shielding: A Carnival in Whimsy grants 1 Wishpower when Aha receives either. This can trigger once, and using the Ultimate resets the allowance.
- Eidolon 1: Adds 4 Wishpower on entering combat.
Put Emanator of Elation on your main Elation carry unless another target's actual turn frequency solves a specific rotation problem. The designation provides 20% Elation and persists until you move it to someone else. A follow-up attack is not automatically a new turn, so counting attacks instead of turn starts will overestimate Wishpower.
Once A Prank on Aeons is unlocked, Skill refunds one Skill Point through its follow-up attack. It becomes SP-neutral after the refund, but you still need a Skill Point available to cast it. Leave that point in reserve before spending heavily with Sparxie. Reusing Skill remains useful for damage, set effects, and the signature Light Cone even when you keep the same Emanator.
The Ultimate activates Faces of Elation for three turns, with its remaining duration decreasing at the start of the playable character's turns. During this state, Elation teammates activate their Innate Traces, Punchline becomes Bliss, and Certified Banger becomes Party Trick. Bliss refunds 10% of the consumed Punchline after an Aha Instant. At E0, Aha also gains 30% DEF ignore for personal damage; that particular effect is not a teamwide buff.
Relics, SPD, and God's Moment of Joy
Dreamlit Actor is the recommended starting set. Its two-piece effect supplies 6% SPD. Using Skill or Ultimate on another ally grants that target 16% Elation for three turns. If the wearer has at least 10 Certified Banger, the set also grants all allies 12% CRIT DMG for three turns. Aha triggers it naturally through Skill, while the Technique's opening Aha Instant helps establish Certified Banger.
A Box of Everything grants 120% Elation at 125 SPD and 150% Elation at 150 SPD. Treat 125 as an interim breakpoint and 150 as the standard target; these are alternative tiers, not bonuses to add together. Prefer reaching 150 without a temporary buff if doing so is affordable. If your build depends on team SPD buffs, check the value during the turns when those buffs are absent.
Do not make 100% CRIT Rate a prerequisite for using this build. With 5% base CRIT Rate, 12% from Traces, and a fully leveled five-star CRIT Rate body, Aha reaches 49.4% before substats and external buffs. Closing the remaining 50.6 percentage points while maintaining SPD is expensive. Secure the opening order first, then improve CRIT Rate without discarding pieces that already make the team work.
God's Moment of Joy is the recommended two-piece planar set. It increases the wearer's SPD by 6%. When the wearer's Elation reaches 40% or higher, their action advances by 40% immediately upon entering combat. The SPD bonus helps reach Aha's 150 SPD Trace breakpoint, while the opening advance helps apply Emanator before the carry acts. Check the actual opening order when teammates also have action advance.
Aha's base SPD and final SPD are different. The V1 exclusive effect changes Aha Instant's base SPD from 80 to the character's base SPD, which is 94 before the signature. More SPD from boots and substats does not become base SPD through this effect, and that base value alone is not Aha Instant's final action-bar SPD. Beyond 150, additional character SPD is worth pursuing when it creates useful actions or repairs turn order; it should not automatically replace every CRIT roll.
Best Light Cone and Budget Alternatives
The values below are all at Superimposition 1. Higher-superimposition alternatives should be compared using their actual in-game descriptions, not assumed to have the same values.
| Light Cone | S1 effects | When to use it |
|---|---|---|
| Upon the First Echo of "Aha" | +12 base SPD. Skill on another ally grants 10 Punchline, at most once every two turns. Its effect also enables all allies to ignore 16% DEF for the battle; this effect cannot stack. | The strongest fit among these options for Aha's team support and Aha Instant interaction. |
| Mushy Shroomy's Adventures | +12% personal Elation. Using an Elation Skill increases all enemies' Elation DMG taken by 6% for two turns. | A practical alternative for teams with frequent Aha Instants and substantial Elation damage. |
| Tomorrow, Together | +12% personal CRIT DMG. After the wearer uses Ultimate, grants all allies 8% Elation for one turn. | An accessible alternative from Herta's Store, especially when you can align the short buff with the team's damage window. |
The signature increases Aha's base SPD from 94 to 106, improving the base value used by Aha Instant as well as the character's build. Its 10 Punchline also helps resource generation, but the cooldown means you cannot budget that gain on every Skill. The teamwide DEF ignore is 16% at S1 and does not stack with another copy of the same effect.
For a limited budget, start with the four-star option you already own. Mushy Shroomy's Adventures applies Elation vulnerability through Elation Skill without waiting for Aha's Ultimate, while Tomorrow, Together offers a shorter buff tied to the Ultimate window. Neither reproduces the signature's base-SPD effect. Compare actual buff coverage and the team's action order before spending pulls; the listed effects alone do not establish a fixed team-damage gap.
Recommended Aeon ★ Aha Teams
Silver Wolf LV.999 + Aeon ★ Aha + Sparxie + Pearl
This is the first lineup to consider for an account already invested in Silver Wolf LV.999. Sparxie converts her actions into Punchline and Skill Point interactions, Pearl handles survival and extra-turn support, and Aha enables their ascended effects. With all four slots on Elation, Pearl's Ultimate reaches its extra-turn condition instead of stopping at action advance.
Use Silver Wolf as the usual Emanator target. Her E2 rewards every 120 Hidden MMR gained during Godmode, including the starting amount, with an extra turn and another enhanced Basic ATK use. Those extra turns are why her E2 matters to this particular investment plan. A higher MMR allowance alone does not grant the same behavior to an E0 Silver Wolf.
Sparxie's ascended effect supplies team DEF ignore and additional Bliss from Straight Fire. Her E2 adds an extra turn after Aha Instant, creating more opportunities to generate resources. This is the mechanism behind the V1 preference for Sparxie in the Silver Wolf lineup; it does not establish that Yao Guang should be removed from every Elation team.
Pearl is the sustain in this composition despite being an Elation character. Her ascended Party Trick limit rises from 50 to 75. At 200 Repellency per point, that increases the maximum stored pool from 10,000 to 15,000, though actual protection still depends on replenishing and spending it. Her enhanced Basic ATK and Skill also heal and cleanse.
Evanescia + Aeon ★ Aha + Yao Guang + Pearl
Use this lineup when Evanescia is the carry you already own and want to improve. Yao Guang's 180-Energy Ultimate grants an extra Aha turn using a fixed 20 Punchline without consuming the team's stored Punchline, plus 20% All-Type RES PEN for three turns at level 10. During Path ascension at Aha E0, her Great Boon multiplier increases by 20% of its original value, and Aha Instant can return up to 10 Energy to her. She contributes both another Elation Skill window and a shorter path to her next Ultimate.
Keep Evanescia as the initial Emanator and usual Aesthetic Archetype. All four characters follow Elation, allowing Pearl to grant an extra turn. Move Pearl's target to Aha only when that extra action finishes an urgent Wishpower refill; otherwise, the carry gives up the immediate damage opportunity.
At the baseline Path ascension level, Evanescia can store up to 60 overflow Energy, gains 10% DEF ignore, and earns an increase equal to 50% of the original next-Ultimate multiplier for each 500 Party Trick accumulated. The overflow is returned after using Ultimate. That particular Energy return does not trigger the Talent's Certified Banger gain, so it cannot be counted as an unrestricted Energy-to-Banger feedback loop.
Evanescia's listed maximum Energy is 480. At Aha E2, her overflow storage rises to 240, her ascended DEF ignore becomes 24%, and each 500 Party Trick increases the next Ultimate's multiplier by 100% of its original value. Even a full 240-point return only covers half of her Energy bar. Faster repeated Ultimates still require external gains and the rest of the rotation, so adding Aha does not establish an infinite-Ultimate loop.
Aventurine • Waveflair + Ashveil + Aeon ★ Aha + Huohuo
This team uses Aha to connect Waveflair's Elation kit with a follow-up attack lineup. During Path ascension, Waveflair's solo-Elation Trace effect can also operate when Aha is his only other Elation teammate. The baseline ascended effect adds 15% team SPD and an extra Fervor and Bliss after a teammate attacks. Replacing Ashveil or Huohuo with a third Elation character breaks that specific team condition.
Ashveil supplies 40% enemy DEF reduction while Bait is present, along with follow-up support. Aha's Skill launches an actual follow-up attack, giving the team another attack that can interact with Bait. Its additional damage is explicitly not another attack, so do not count it as a separate trigger for every attack-based effect.
Huohuo supports survival and the conventional Energy needs of Waveflair and Ashveil. Her healing can activate Aha's once-per-Ultimate Wishpower Trace; her 20% Energy restoration is not a listed direct Wishpower source. The Huohuo data used here is marked Enhanced V1, so do not transfer its upgraded duration and Trace details to an account using a different version of her kit.
Waveflair is the natural initial Emanator target here. The main weakness is the period before Aha's first Ultimate, when the ascended solo-Elation exception is not active. Evaluate that delay before replacing an established support or spending on Aha specifically for this team.
Opening Rotation: When Can Aha Use the First Ultimate?
Use Aha's Technique before entering combat. It creates an opening Aha extra turn that takes a fixed 20 Punchline into account, allowing Elation Skills to occur immediately. That fixed count is not a promise of 20 spendable Punchline remaining afterward, and the Technique alone does not activate Faces of Elation.
- Set up the opening buffs. Keep Aha's Technique active when combat begins. If using Pearl's Technique, finish the setup with the intended Aesthetic Archetype selected, because switching active characters transfers that designation.
- Apply Emanator before the carry's next useful turn. Use Aha's Skill on the intended target and verify that God's Moment of Joy meets its Elation requirement and places Aha at the intended point in the action order.
- Build the first 8 Wishpower. Count Aha's actions, the 40-Punchline trigger, the designated ally's turn starts, and one eligible healing or shielding trigger separately.
- Use Ultimate before the important damage sequence when legal. Let any active extra turn finish first: the V1 extra-turn rules prohibit using Ultimates during that turn.
- Check the next refill. After the first Ultimate, monitor whether the team reaches 8 Wishpower again before Faces of Elation expires. A successful opener does not establish permanent uptime.
For an E1 Aha, one illustrative opening budget is 4 starting Wishpower + 1 from the opening Elation Skill + 1 from the 40-Punchline trigger + 1 from Skill + 1 from the Emanator's turn start = 8. Each event must actually occur in that order or another workable sequence. An eligible heal can contribute one additional point; repeated heals cannot keep adding points before the trigger resets.
One V1 theorycrafting sequence uses Sparxie E2 to create another opening action, Silver Wolf's Ultimate to restore 90 Energy to Pearl through Aesthetic Firewall, and Pearl's Ultimate to give Aha an early Skill opportunity. Silver Wolf must already be Pearl's Aesthetic Archetype for that Energy trigger. Pearl still needs the rest of her 180-Energy cost, and Sparxie's extra turn does not itself guarantee a fixed Punchline total. If either Ultimate is late, continue building resources; this sequence is not a guaranteed zero-cycle clear.
Eidolons and Pull Priority
E0 is the starting point for evaluating the character. It already provides Emanator, Path ascension, the Technique opener, and Elation Debt. The important question is whether your team activates Faces of Elation early enough and keeps it available through the damage windows you care about. Buying Eidolons does not replace that check.
E1 improves startup. It grants four Wishpower on entry and merrymakes allies' Elation DMG by 15%. The four starting points apply to the opener, not every refill. The damage effect is specifically for Elation DMG, so it should not be advertised as an unconditional 15% increase to all damage in a mixed team.
E2 strengthens the team's ascended effects. For Silver Wolf, the Hidden MMR overflow allowance rises from 360 to 999, and the Party Trick-to-MMR conversion increases from 20% to 40%. For Evanescia, it improves overflow storage and the next-Ultimate bonus described above. Aha's own DEF ignore during Faces of Elation also rises from 30% to 60%, while the Punchline refund remains 10%. These are beta effects; they do not establish a universal damage increase or make E2 equally valuable in every team.
Waveflair's ascended team SPD buff increases from 15% to 25% at Aha E2, and each teammate attack supplies an additional two Fervor and two Bliss instead of one each. In Pearl teams, her retention of temporary extra-turn resources rises from 10% to 20%, while her ascended Party Trick cap remains 75. These upgrades serve different rotations: more resources after an extra turn do not help in the same way as faster follow-up generation.
For a Silver Wolf account committed to this team, one ceiling-focused route is to complete the lineup, then consider Aha's signature, Silver Wolf E2, Aha E2, and Sparxie E2 in that order, before further Pearl or Light Cone investment. The route assumes you want Silver Wolf's MMR-driven extra turns and already have reliable sustain. Treat each step as a separate decision; this order does not transfer directly to an Evanescia or Waveflair team.
If your budget covers only one extra upgrade, identify the problem first. Aha's signature improves base SPD and team resource support; E1 directly reduces the initial Wishpower shortfall. Silver Wolf E2 is relevant when you specifically want her MMR-driven extra-turn engine. If an incomplete team is still missing a damage dealer or reliable sustain, filling that slot is the more useful starting point.
For F2P accounts, plan around E0 Aha with an existing four-star Light Cone and the carry you already own. Do not budget for four new limited characters simply to reproduce one lineup. Keep additional pulls until release values and a complete opening rotation confirm which upgrade changes your result; a low spender should use the same checkpoint before moving from one premium upgrade to a chain of Eidolons.
E4 and E6 are expensive extensions, not baseline build targets. E4 increases Aha's True DMG coefficient and lets personal Elation damage account for teammates' accumulated Certified Banger. E6 adds a minimum Elation Debt effect, an extra Aha turn on the first Ultimate, and action advance on later Ultimates. Neither is needed to begin using the core team interactions.
Ascension, Skill, and Signature Materials
The table covers the following V1 material categories: character ascension from Lv.1 to Lv.80, Basic ATK from 1 to 6 plus Skill, Ultimate, Talent, and Elation Skill from 1 to 10, and signature Light Cone ascension through Lv.80. These are not complete account-level leveling costs. Character EXP, Light Cone EXP, their associated leveling Credits, and any unlisted Trace nodes must be budgeted separately.
| Material | Character ascension | Listed skill levels | Signature ascension | Combined listed total |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Credit | 308,000 | 2,260,000 | 385,000 | 2,953,000 |
| Sneering Harlequin | 65 | 0 | 0 | 65 |
| Whimsy Wax | 15 | 33 | 20 | 68 |
| Dreamweave Steel | 15 | 49 | 20 | 84 |
| Lucid Awl | 15 | 36 | 14 | 65 |
| The Fluffy Hand-drawn Storyboards | 0 | 14 | 4 | 18 |
| The Fluffy Serialization Memorial Issue | 0 | 53 | 12 | 65 |
| The Fluffy Collector's Edition | 0 | 104 | 15 | 119 |
| Tracks of Destiny | 0 | 6 | 0 | 6 |
| Unnamed weekly boss material shown as "..." | 0 | 9 | 0 | 9; name unconfirmed |
For character ascension and the listed skill levels without the signature, the subtotal is 2,568,000 Credits, 48 Whimsy Wax, 64 Dreamweave Steel, and 51 Lucid Awl, plus the other character materials shown above. Do not farm a guessed replacement for the unnamed material. Confirm its identity in an updated material list before spending limited attempts or resources on it.
Unlock the three major Bonus Abilities early: the Skill Point refund, the healing/shielding Wishpower trigger, and the SPD-to-Elation conversion change how the build functions. For the V1 leveling route, prioritize Talent and Elation Skill, then Skill and Ultimate, with Basic ATK last. Talent improves the team CRIT DMG buff, while Elation Skill contributes to every participating Aha Instant. Keep some resources uncommitted during V1 instead of using the listed totals as a reason to max every optional node immediately.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Elation Debt immediately remove 25% of an enemy's HP?
No. The V1 Talent generates Debt equal to 25% of damage dealt, not 25% of the enemy's maximum HP per hit. Debt occupies maximum HP and removes current HP when the occupied portion overlaps it. The text also describes retaining Debt across phase transitions up to 10% of the target's maximum HP. That wording should not be turned into a blanket 10% cap for every situation without confirming the implementation, nor should E6's minimum 20% effect simply be added to it and advertised as a guaranteed 30% opening HP cut.
Does E4 raise the True DMG coefficient from 20% to 45%?
No. E4 increases the original coefficient by 25%, so 20% × 1.25 becomes 25%. At the baseline coefficient, an eligible Aha Instant damage total of 1,000,000 corresponds to 200,000 True DMG, distributed equally among enemies; with the E4 coefficient it would be 250,000 for the same damage total. This is not that amount dealt separately to every enemy.
Does Pearl need her signature to heal Aha?
No. Pearl's Skill and enhanced Basic ATKs already provide healing in this kit. A signature-dependent opening heal may change a particular showcase's timing, but it is not the source of all her healing. For Aha, the relevant check is whether a teammate's heal or shield reaches Aha while the Wishpower trigger is available.
Should Pearl always use her Ultimate on Aha?
No. In a four-Elation team, targeting Aha can supply an urgent extra action, but it gives up the carry's extra turn and changes Aesthetic Archetype. Pearl's additional Ice Elation damage also uses the Archetype's stats, so the choice affects more than Wishpower. Keep the carry as the usual target unless Aha's extra action brings Faces of Elation online before an important damage window.
Can Yao Guang take Dreamlit Actor so Aha can use a damage set?
Do not assume her teamwide zone activates the set. Dreamlit Actor requires using Skill or Ultimate on one other ally target; Yao Guang's zone does not meet that targeting condition. Aha's targeted Skill does. Changing Aha to a personal-damage set is therefore a tradeoff against the targeted Elation and conditional team CRIT DMG buffs, not a free transfer of the same support effects to Yao Guang.
Start by preparing the level-80 build, the three major Bonus Abilities, and a reliable 150 SPD setup. Then check one complete rotation: when the first Ultimate becomes available, whether the carry acts during Faces of Elation, and whether the next eight Wishpower arrive in time. If those checks pass and the team clears your target content, keep the remaining pulls for a confirmed upgrade rather than extending a provisional V1 investment chain.
