Hsin has two combat forms, two Forte resources and two Resonance Modes, but the most important build decision happens before the fight: are you playing Unison or Electro Flare? The two modes reward different teammates and switching between them clears the mode-specific effects you have built. Pick the team first, then build the rotation around it.

This guide is based on Hsin's Version 3.7 beta data available on September 7, 2026. Kuro Games has officially confirmed Hsin as an Electro Rectifier and shown her combat in test-build footage, but her multipliers, Resonance Chains, signature weapon and new Echo set can still change before release. Treat the recommendations below as a pre-release build plan, not a final live-server damage ranking.

How Hsin's Kit Actually Works

Hsin begins in Answering Form. Her Basic Attacks, Resonance Skill and Intro Skill build Answering Heart to 100. Once the gauge is full, holding Normal Attack casts Answering Form: Realm Wanderer, a large hit treated as Resonance Skill DMG, and unlocks Resonance Liberation: Formshift.

Formshift moves Hsin into Illumining Form, starts Heart Manifest and grants 21 stacks of Edict. Edict is the reason Hsin still contributes while another character is active: after the active Resonator deals damage, one stack can be consumed to summon a Soaring Pillar as a Coordinated Attack, up to once per second. Hsin then builds Illumining Heart to 300 and casts Illumining Form: Pillars Aligned to enter Mechanism Dominion for up to 13 seconds.

Attacks in Mechanism Dominion consume Illumining Heart. When the gauge reaches zero, hold Normal Attack for Illumining Form: Beholding All Horizons. This unlocks Resonance Liberation: Pillars Across Heaven, Hsin's large finishing hit, and returns her to Answering Form. Her real loop is therefore not “use Liberation on cooldown.” It is fill the first gauge, transform, use the team window, empty the second gauge, then finish with the second Liberation.

Unison or Electro Flare?

Unison Mode is built around controlled swaps and repeated Intro/Outro activations. Formshift gives Hsin Unison for five seconds. Swapping during that window can trigger her Outro without spending full Concerto Energy, while returning to Hsin through a teammate's Unison can trigger Unison Response and upgrade her Intro Skill to Manifold Unison. In Illumining Form, that enhanced Intro sends her directly into Mechanism Dominion with 300 Illumining Heart, cutting out much of the second gauge-building phase.

Electro Flare Mode converts Electro Rage applied by the team into Heart of Thunder. Hsin spends Heart of Thunder through Resonance Skill - Illumining Form to trigger additional Electro Flare damage, and Formshift plus her empowered Illumining attacks supply more Flare stacks. This route is easier to assemble without another limited Version 3.7 character, but it needs a dependable Flare applier; otherwise Hsin loses a major part of the mode.

Do not change modes halfway through a rotation. Hsin loses Source Intent, Unison and Unison Boon when leaving Unison Mode, while Heart of Thunder and the remaining mode-specific Flare applications are removed when leaving Electro Flare Mode.

Best Weapons for Hsin

Weapon Lv. 90 Stats Why It Works
Blooming Jadehaven 588 ATK, 24.3% Crit. Rate Hsin's signature and clear best fit. At R1 it grants 12% All-Attribute DMG Bonus. After Hsin inflicts Electro Flare or triggers Unison Response, it Amplifies Resonance Skill DMG by 36% and lets that damage ignore 10% Electro RES. Its 30% Electro Flare DMG Amplification also directly strengthens her Flare route.
Lethean Elegy 588 ATK, 24.3% Crit. Rate The strongest listed alternative. It gives 12% ATK, then grants 32% Resonance Skill DMG Bonus and 8% DEF ignore for 12 seconds after Echo Skill DMG. Hsin does not use the 32% Echo Skill DMG Amplification as well as the weapon's intended owner, but the remaining package lines up with her main damage tag.
Stringmaster 500 ATK, 36% Crit. Rate A strong Crit stat stick that also grants 12% Attribute DMG Bonus and up to 24% ATK after Resonance Skill hits. The extra off-field ATK can support Edict's Coordinated Attacks, although its lower base ATK and lack of direct Resonance Skill Amplification keep it behind Lethean Elegy.
Cosmic Ripples 500 ATK, 54% ATK A usable standard 5-star option with 12.8% Energy Regen. Most of Hsin's payoff is Resonance Skill DMG, so the stacking Basic Attack DMG Bonus is poorly matched; use Cosmic Ripples for its raw ATK and smoother energy rather than its full passive.
Fusion Accretion 463 ATK, 18.2% ATK The practical 4-star fallback. Casting a Resonance Skill restores 6 Resonance Energy and grants 10% ATK for 16 seconds, once every 20 seconds. It helps Hsin reach her 125-cost finishing Liberation more reliably, but its damage ceiling is well below the 5-star choices.

If you already own Lethean Elegy or Stringmaster, Hsin does not need her signature simply to function. Blooming Jadehaven becomes much more attractive when you are committed to Hsin, especially in Electro Flare Mode, because every major part of its passive is relevant. For most accounts, the sensible pre-release stopping point is S0 Hsin first, then Blooming Jadehaven only if the remaining pulls will not cost you a required teammate.

Best Echoes and Main Stats

Heart of Sworn Vigil is Hsin's dedicated set in the current beta. Its 2-piece effect grants 10% Electro DMG. The 5-piece effect activates when Hsin inflicts Electro Flare, obtains Unison or triggers Unison Response, giving her 15% Crit. Rate and 22.5% Electro DMG for 30 seconds. Both of her modes can trigger it naturally, and the long duration covers her transformation and finishing sequence.

  • 4-Cost: Crit. Rate or Crit. DMG
  • 3-Cost: one ATK% and one Electro DMG Bonus
  • 1-Cost: ATK% on both pieces
  • Substats: Crit. Rate / Crit. DMG > ATK%

With Blooming Jadehaven or Lethean Elegy, Hsin already receives 24.3% Crit. Rate from her weapon and another 15% from the active 5-piece set, so a Crit. DMG 4-Cost will usually balance the build better. Stringmaster supplies even more Crit. Rate and also favors Crit. DMG. Cosmic Ripples and Fusion Accretion provide no Crit, making a Crit. Rate 4-Cost the safer starting point unless your substats are unusually strong.

Resonance Skill DMG remains a useful secondary roll because Realm Wanderer, Pillars Aligned, Beholding All Horizons and Pillars Across Heaven all use that damage category. Energy Regen is a comfort stat rather than the first farming target. Add it only if Pillars Across Heaven is repeatedly unavailable at the end of a clean rotation; do not sacrifice a large amount of Crit just to chase an unverified pre-release ER threshold.

Best Hsin Team Comps

Accessible Team: Hsin, Rover: Havoc and Buling

This is Hsin's lower-cost Electro Flare team. Buling is the piece that makes the mode work: her Five Thunders Spell Array applies two Electro Flare stacks every two seconds for 24 seconds, while her Intro Skill immediately adds four stacks. Her Outro gives the whole team 15% DMG Amplification for 30 seconds and continued healing, so both Hsin and Rover can take useful field time without giving up sustain.

Buling's Array also rewards the team's frequent swaps. The first Intro Skill cast while it is active unlocks a 10% Resonance Skill DMG Bonus; the second raises that bonus to 25%, or 50% at Buling's S6. Hsin is the main beneficiary, but Rover's Wingblade and Lifetaker also use the Resonance Skill tag. Buling S5 is another meaningful breakpoint because the Array applies six additional Electro Flare stacks as soon as it is created.

Rover: Havoc does not generate Electro Flare and does not directly improve Hsin's mode-specific damage. Their job is to use the field time opened by Formshift: Hsin leaves behind 21 Edict stacks, so Rover's fast Skill, Liberation and Dark Surge attacks can trigger Hsin's Soaring Pillar Coordinated Attacks while dealing an independent burst. Rover's Outro then leaves a Havoc field that continues dealing damage after Hsin returns.

This is an important tradeoff, not something to hide. Because Rover deals Havoc DMG, they do not benefit from the 20% Electro DMG Amplification attached to Hsin's Electro Flare Outro. The team exchanges some direct Hsin synergy for a free, already-built secondary damage dealer. Keep Rover's field segment short; extending a full Dark Surge string at the cost of Hsin's Illumining sequence defeats the purpose of the slot.

Premium Team: Hsin, Suoming and SuiSui

This team is built around Unison rather than Electro Flare. Suoming gains Unison from her Resonance Liberation. Swapping her out during its five-second window triggers her Outro and Hsin's Intro without consuming full Concerto Energy. Her Outro gives the incoming Hsin 20% Electro DMG Amplification and, if Hsin has Unison Boon, another 25% Resonance Skill DMG Amplification for eight seconds.

Suoming also grants Aligned Seals when she leaves the field with Unison. Under the current beta wording, her Outro then adds 30% Electro DMG Bonus plus 20% for each Unison Boon stack, up to another 40%, for eight seconds. These short buffs explain the intended rotation: they are meant to cover Hsin's enhanced Illumining attacks and Pillars Across Heaven, not a long gauge-building phase.

SuiSui supplies the stability that the Hsin-Suoming pair lacks. Her Outro grants the entire team 25% All DMG Amplification for 30 seconds, and reaching at least 400 Floral Epistle before leaving the field can add up to 12% more damage based on the portion of her Energy Regen above 200%. Her Ceaseless Landscape and Plume Steps continue healing in the background. The 600-point Undulating Mist effect is less important in this Unison team because its ATK increase requires the incoming Resonator to consume a Negative Status or Electro Rage; do not lengthen every rotation solely to reach 600 if that condition will not be used.

Hsin Rotations

The supplied gameplay footage shows a clear four-part exchange: Suoming opens, Hsin enters and casts her first Liberation, Suoming returns while Hsin's field attacks continue, and Hsin re-enters for her enhanced sequence and second Liberation. The narrator recorded that observation before the full beta descriptions were available, so the rotations below use the visible order but replace the video's guesses with the current skill text. Exact animation cancels and minimum field times still need live-server testing.

Hsin, Rover: Havoc and Buling Rotation

  1. Use Buling to obtain Minor Yin and Minor Yang, then cast Flashing Thunder Spell: Harmony. Make sure the Five Thunders Spell Array is active before Hsin begins her main setup.
  2. Use Buling's Outro into Hsin. Buling's Intro-triggered Array progression will begin, Hsin receives 15% team DMG Amplification, and the Array continues applying Electro Flare.
  3. With Hsin in Electro Flare Mode, use Intro, Basic Attacks and Resonance Skill to fill Answering Heart to 100. Hold Normal Attack for Realm Wanderer or Realm Protector, then cast Formshift.
  4. Once Hsin has created the Edict field, switch to Rover: Havoc for a short Skill and Liberation burst. Rover's attacks trigger Soaring Pillars while Hsin is off field. Enter Dark Surge only if the transition is already prepared; do not spend a long unbuffed Basic Attack string building Umbra from zero.
  5. Use Rover's Outro and return to Hsin. Her Illumining Intro adds an Electro Flare stack, while Rover's Havoc field continues hitting in the background. This second Intro also advances Buling's Array buff to its higher Resonance Skill DMG tier.
  6. Use Illumining Basic Attack Stage 1 to create a Modular Heartlock, then collapse it to gain the once-per-Formshift 150 Illumining Heart. Use Resonance Skill - Illumining Form with Heart of Thunder available, then finish building the gauge to 300.
  7. Cast Pillars Aligned, use its enhanced attacks until Illumining Heart reaches zero, hold Normal Attack for Beholding All Horizons or Stilling All Horizons, and finish with Pillars Across Heaven.

Do not swap out while Resonance Skill - Illumining Form is converting Heart of Thunder. Ending that skill early also ends the remaining conversion. The second mistake is leaving Rover active for too long: Rover is there to exploit Edict's off-field window, not to replace Hsin's 13-second Mechanism Dominion damage phase.

Hsin, Suoming and SuiSui Rotation

  1. Set up SuiSui's Ceaseless Landscape and build at least 400 Floral Epistle when the encounter allows it. Use Rippling Waters so its 25% All DMG Amplification and background healing cover the complete Hsin-Suoming exchange.
  2. Bring in Suoming. Use her Intro, Basic Attacks and Liberation to build Delusion and obtain Unison. The test-build footage shows Suoming completing her first field segment before handing the Intro to Hsin.
  3. Switch from Suoming to Hsin during Suoming's five-second Unison window. This triggers Suoming's Outro and Hsin's Intro without requiring full Concerto, giving Hsin the short Electro and Resonance Skill amplification window.
  4. Use Hsin's Intro, Basic Attacks and Resonance Skill to reach 100 Answering Heart. Hold Normal Attack for Realm Wanderer or Realm Protector, then cast Formshift to enter Illumining Form, create 21 Edict stacks and gain Hsin's own five-second Unison.
  5. Immediately switch back to Suoming. Hsin's Unison triggers her Outro and Suoming's enhanced Intro, while Suoming's attacks consume Hsin's Edict stacks to summon Soaring Pillars. This swap also establishes one side of the Unison Boon exchange.
  6. Complete Suoming's compact second field segment, obtain Unison again through her Liberation when available, and switch back to Hsin. Suoming's Outro buffs Hsin, and Hsin's Unison Response upgrades the incoming Intro to Manifold Unison.
  7. Because Hsin returns in Illumining Form through Manifold Unison, she enters Mechanism Dominion directly with 300 Illumining Heart. Use the enhanced Pillars Aligned string until the gauge is empty, hold Normal Attack for the finisher, then cast Pillars Across Heaven before Suoming's eight-second incoming-character buffs expire.

The most expensive error in this team is missing either five-second Unison swap. Delaying after Suoming's Liberation loses Hsin's buffed Intro, while delaying after Hsin's Formshift removes the shortcut that lets her re-enter with 300 Illumining Heart. Suisui should finish her work before this exchange begins; switching back to her in the middle interrupts both characters' short buff windows.

Skill Upgrade Priority

Start with Forte Circuit: Forms Turn, Heart Abides and Resonance Liberation: Nexus Alight. The Forte contains Hsin's held finishers, Pillars Aligned and the Mechanism Dominion loop, while the Liberation contains Pillars Across Heaven and the Edict Coordinated Attacks. These two branches cover the largest and most frequent parts of her damage cycle.

After that, prioritize Intro Skill for an Unison build because Manifold Unison is repeatedly upgraded by that route. In Electro Flare Mode, prioritize Resonance Skill next, followed by Intro Skill. Normal Attack can be raised last: it is required to move the rotation forward, but the build's largest payoffs are tagged as Resonance Skill DMG and live in the Forte and Liberation branches.

Which Resonance Chains Are Worth It?

S0 is the correct stopping point for most players. Hsin's complete two-form loop, both Resonance Modes, Edict attacks and second Liberation are all present in her base kit. Her first Chain adds two damage-reduction and interruption-resistance charges after Formshift, then improves either Manifold Unison or Heart of Thunder conversion depending on the selected mode. It is a mixture of comfort and damage, not a missing mechanic.

S2 is the first major luxury target. It raises the multipliers of both Answering Form finishers and both Illumining Form finishers by 60%. It also resets the cooldowns for Resolution of Wishes and Law of Heaven on entering combat and can immediately supply 100 Answering Heart, making the opening much faster. Players who want a premium Hsin should compare S2 against S0R1 after final calculations are available.

S3 concentrates more power in Pillars Across Heaven, adding a 70% multiplier increase and a mode-specific bonus: Unison grants more Crit. DMG to the Liberation, while Electro Flare can trigger an additional high-multiplier Flare instance on the final hit. S4 is a team-oriented 20% All-Attribute DMG Bonus. S5 is primarily defensive, with damage reduction and a once-per-ten-minutes fatal-hit safeguard.

S6 is whale territory. It makes targets take 40% more Resonance Skill DMG from Hsin and lets her Resonance Skill DMG ignore 20% DEF. Unison gains another Unison Boon layer, while Electro Flare damage near Hsin can Crit with fixed 80% Crit. Rate and 230% Crit. DMG. The node is powerful, but it is not needed to repair the base rotation.

The current database flags the image attached to Remnant of the Wheel as a temporary reuse of another item's asset. Keep the quantity at 26 for planning, but wait for the Version 3.7 preview or live client before spending weekly-boss resources based on the displayed icon. Hsin's character ascension and full Forte tree require 2,200,000 Shell Credits in the listed material blocks; adding her signature weapon raises the listed total to 2,530,000.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Hsin a main DPS or a sub-DPS?

Hsin is primarily a main DPS. She needs field time to fill two resources and execute Mechanism Dominion, but the 21 Edict stacks created by Formshift also let her deal Coordinated Attack damage while a teammate is active. That off-field portion supports her rotation; it does not turn her into a conventional low-field-time sub-DPS.

Does Hsin need Suoming?

Suoming is the intended partner for Hsin's premium Unison team, but she is not required for the Electro Flare route. Players skipping Suoming can use Rover: Havoc and Buling: Buling supplies the Flare application and Resonance Skill buffs, while Rover contributes a short independent burst during Hsin's Edict window. The budget team gives up some direct synergy, so its final gap from the Suoming team still needs live testing.

Is Blooming Jadehaven required?

No. Lethean Elegy is a strong alternative, Stringmaster supplies excellent Crit. Rate, and Cosmic Ripples or Fusion Accretion can complete the build. Blooming Jadehaven is still a substantial Hsin-specific upgrade because it supports Resonance Skill DMG, Electro RES ignore and Electro Flare in one passive.

Should Hsin use a Crit. Rate or Crit. DMG 4-Cost Echo?

Use Crit. DMG with Blooming Jadehaven, Lethean Elegy or Stringmaster unless your Crit. Rate substats are poor. Use Crit. Rate with Cosmic Ripples or Fusion Accretion as the safer baseline. Check the final combat sheet with Heart of Sworn Vigil active rather than judging the unbuffed stat screen.

Can Hsin switch between Unison and Electro Flare during combat?

The mode can be changed, but doing so removes the resources and buffs tied to the previous mode. In practice, switching during a cycle is a loss. Choose the mode that matches the other two members before starting the encounter and keep it for the full rotation.

Which Hsin build should F2P players use?

Start with S0 Hsin, Fusion Accretion, Heart of Sworn Vigil and the Electro Flare team of Rover: Havoc plus Buling. Buling S0 already supplies healing, Flare and 15% team DMG Amplification; S5 improves opening Flare application and S6 raises her final Resonance Skill buff to 50%. Spend resources on Hsin's core skills and usable Echoes before considering the signature weapon.

What should I farm before Version 3.7?

Bank Shell Credits, Rectifier EXP, Resonator EXP and the listed Autopuppet Kernel and String materials that are already available. Do not convert scarce weekly resources based only on a temporary beta icon. For Echoes, keep pieces with strong Crit. Rate, Crit. DMG and ATK% rolls, but avoid heavy tuning investment until Heart of Sworn Vigil and its 4-Cost Echo are confirmed on the live client.

If resources are limited, finish Hsin at S0 with Rover: Havoc and Buling before chasing Blooming Jadehaven or early Chains. Players building the premium Unison team should reserve enough pulls for Suoming and use SuiSui as the third slot instead of spending everything on Hsin's personal upgrades. Recheck the weapon passive, Echo set and Chain wording after the Version 3.7 preview; those are the parts of this build most likely to move before release.
