Is GENSHINGIFT Still Active?
GENSHINGIFT is the game's long-running legacy code and provides 50 Primogems and three Hero's Wit. It remained in the working-code list checked on September 18, although availability can be intermittent.
Players who have used GENSHINGIFT before cannot normally claim the reward a second time, so an already-redeemed response does not mean the code has been disabled globally. Older reports have also occasionally recorded availability or quota issues, which is why the official redemption result for your account remains the final test.
If you have never used the code, it is worth including in your September redemption run rather than treating it as automatically expired.

What Version Is Genshin Impact on Right Now?
As of September 21, Version 7.0 "Everwinter Without Mercy" remains live. HoYoverse launched the update on August 12, 2026, opening the Snezhnaya region and Archon Quest Chapter VII.
The Version 7.0 Phase II Event Wishes featuring Flins and Ineffa run from September 1 through September 22, 2026. Version 7.1 "A Rekviem for the Underworld" has now been previewed as the next update.
There are no active Version 7.1 livestream codes. Rekviem, Vesna0923, and PrimaDonna expired after the September 12 Special Program, while ordinary promotional codes can still appear without a fixed schedule.
How to Redeem Genshin Impact Codes
You must normally reach Adventure Rank 10 before using standard Genshin Impact redemption codes. Your character must also be linked to the HoYoverse Account used for web redemption.
Method 1: Redeem Codes In-Game
- Launch Genshin Impact and enter the correct server.
- Open the Paimon Menu.
- Select the gear icon to open Settings.
- Open the Account tab.
- Select Redeem Code or Redeem Now.
- Enter the code exactly as displayed and select Exchange.
- Open your in-game Mailbox and claim the attached rewards.
If the Redeem Code option is not displayed on your platform, use the official redemption website instead.
Method 2: Use the Official Redemption Website
- Open the official Genshin Impact redemption page.
- Sign in with the HoYoverse Account linked to your character.

Why Is My Genshin Impact Code Not Working?
The code has expired: Promotional codes can disappear without warning. Version livestream codes are especially short-lived, while even ordinary promotional codes can vanish between tracker updates.
The code was entered incorrectly: Check capitalization, easily confused characters such as O/0 and I/1, and accidental spaces.
The code was already claimed: Each promotional reward can normally be redeemed only once per eligible account and server.
The code reached a usage limit: Some long-running or promotional codes can stop working when their campaign quota is exhausted.
The code does not support your server: Some regional campaigns do not apply to America, Europe, Asia, or TW/HK/Macao equally.
Your Adventure Rank is too low: Reach Adventure Rank 10 before using most standard codes.
The wrong character was selected: On the website, confirm the server and displayed nickname before redeeming.

Version Special Programs: HoYoverse normally distributes three short-lived codes during major version preview livestreams. These usually total 300 Primogems and should be redeemed immediately.
