Current HSR Banners — What Is Live in Version 4.3

Mortenax Blade & Yao Guang — Phase 1 (Jun 1 – Jun 22)

Mortenax Blade is the brand‑new 5‑star Fire character following the Signature Path of Blade. He uses his body as a furnace to re‑forge his broken sword. When he casts his Ultimate, he deploys a special combat Zone and enters an enhanced state with a completely transformed model. In this state his main Skill becomes a rain of swords that deals massive area damage. While the Zone is active all enemies suffer a debuff that increases the damage they take. Every time an ally attacks an enemy, it applies a debuff stack and builds Charge for Mortenax Blade. Once fully charged, he automatically unleashes an extra out‑of‑turn Skill that is classified as a Follow‑up ATK, and he recovers bonus energy. His Technique lets him strike enemies to start a battle, Taunting them and reducing his own damage taken.

Phase 1 Light Cones:

• Reforged in Hellfire – Mortenax Blade’s signature 5‑star Light Cone, maximising his damage in the enhanced state.

Cyrene & Phainon Rerun — Phase 2 (Jun 22 – Jul 13)

Two highly requested characters return in the second half of Version 4.3. Cyrene and Phainon are back with their signature Light Cones This Love, Forever and Thus Burns the Dawn. If you missed them the first time around, this is your chance to grab one of the strongest duos in the current meta.

Next HSR Banner — Version 4.4 Preview

Phase 1: Himeko • Nova (Fire/Erudition)

Launching approximately July 24, 2026, Himeko • Nova is an alternate 5‑star form of the beloved Navigator. She follows the Erudition Path, wields the Fire element, and is built as a top‑tier Ultimate damage dealer. Early leaks point to a unique summon mechanic and an HP‑consuming playstyle that synergises extremely well with characters like Blade. She gains extra benefits when teamed with other Astral Express crew members, making her a strong tactical pick for veteran accounts.

Phase 2: Fate/stay night Crossover – Gilgamesh & Rin Tohsaka

The legendary Holy Grail War collaboration arrives in the second half of Version 4.4 (projected August 2026). Gilgamesh (Lightning/Destruction) will be completely free during the event period. Rin Tohsaka is a premium gacha unit on the Erudition Path dealing Quantum area damage. Both are limited 5‑star characters. Wait for full kit reveals closer to launch, but fans of Fate and collectors alike will want to save a significant Stellar Jade reserve for this phase — especially with powerful SP reruns expected in 4.5.

Mortenax Blade (Fire) — Pull or skip?

Pull if you heavily rely on Follow‑up Attack (FuA) teams or want a flashy, high‑damage Fire unit with a unique transformation mechanic. His Zone enables fast allies to rapidly build his Talent charges, generating frequent out‑of‑turn Follow‑up Attacks while his enhanced Skill costs 0 SP. He also comes with an exclusive cosmetic: pulling him from the “Gift of Tempered Blade” event rewards the divine ring Karmic Fire of the Distant Shore for the new gear slot.

Skip if you are saving for the Fate crossover in 4.4 or the powerful SP units rumoured for 4.5. Cyrene and Phainon reruns in Phase 2 may also tempt players who missed them earlier.

Yao Guang — Pull or skip?

Since Yao Guang’s full kit is still under wraps, cautious players should wait for community testing. If you are already pulling for Mortenax Blade, Yao Guang is a natural bonus on the same banner.

F2P pull priority for 4.3

With a major crossover and fan‑favourite SP upgrades on the horizon, 4.3 is a planning patch. Target Mortenax Blade if FuA teams are your focus. Otherwise, conserve Stellar Jades for Himeko Nova (4.4) or the Gilgamesh & Rin Tohsaka banner. Remember: Gilgamesh is free, but Rin Tohsaka will cost pulls.
