Current HSR Banners — What Is Live in Version 4.4

Himeko • Nova — Phase 1 (Jul 14 – Aug 4)

Himeko • Nova is the new five-star Fire character on the Erudition Path. This alternate form of the Astral Express Navigator is built as an Ultimate-focused area damage dealer with a summon mechanic and an HP-consuming combat loop.

She gains extra value when paired with other Astral Express crew members and can fit accounts that want a new Fire carry for multi-target content. Players should still compare her final performance with the damage dealers already on their roster before committing to Eidolons or her signature Light Cone.

Gilgamesh & Rin Tohsaka — Phase 2 (Aug 4 – Aug 25)

The Fate/stay night crossover takes over the second half of the patch. Gilgamesh is a Lightning Destruction character and is listed as a free event reward, while Rin Tohsaka is a premium Quantum Erudition unit.

Collectors may see this as the main attraction of Version 4.4, but F2P players do not need to spend Stellar Jades on Gilgamesh if he remains obtainable for free. The main gacha decision is whether Rin adds enough Quantum area damage to justify pulling before the two new alternate forms arriving in Version 4.5.

Himeko • Nova — Pull or skip?

Pull if your account needs a Fire Erudition carry for multi-target stages, you enjoy Ultimate-focused damage, or you already use several Astral Express characters who can support her team bonuses. Her alternate form also has clear collector value for Himeko fans.

Skip if your roster already has strong Fire area damage or if your main goal is a reusable support. Version 4.5 places Robin • Summeretto immediately after this patch, and her action advance, Energy recovery, and DEF ignore may be easier to use across several teams.

Gilgamesh & Rin Tohsaka — Pull or skip?

Claim Gilgamesh through the event if he remains available for free. There is no reason for an F2P account to spend premium currency on a character that can be obtained without pulls.

Pull Rin Tohsaka if you value the Fate/stay night collaboration, need a Quantum Erudition unit, or collect limited crossover characters. Skip if crossover value is not important to you or your account is saving for Robin • Summeretto or Aventurine • Waveflair.

F2P pull priority for 4.4

For most F2P players, the safest plan is to claim the free crossover reward, test Himeko • Nova before committing, and avoid chasing signatures unless the character already fills a clear roster need. Save a full pity reserve for Version 4.5 if your account needs a long-term support or a dedicated Elation carry.

Phase 1: Robin • Summeretto (Wind/Remembrance)

Expected around August 25, 2026, Robin • Summeretto is an HP-scaling Remembrance support who summons three Summer Songbirds and builds Vibes. Once the full trio is active, she enters Fever and creates a Zone that can provide powerful teamwide DEF ignore.

Her Ultimate advances one ally by 100%, restores part of that unit’s Energy, and helps the team generate Vibes faster. She currently looks like the more flexible account investment because action advance, Energy support, damage amplification, and DEF ignore can benefit several carries. Her signature Light Cone is Rise and Sing, which adds Max HP, opening action advance, team SPD, and Skill Point recovery.

Phase 2: Aventurine • Waveflair (Quantum/The Elation)

Expected around September 16, 2026, Aventurine • Waveflair is an AoE Elation carry rather than a sustain unit. His team builds Punchline and Fervor through frequent attacks, allowing him to unleash repeated random-hit Elation damage during an Aha Instant.

His first major target is 160 SPD, so fast teammates, Follow-Up ATKs, and extra actions are central to his pull value. His signature Light Cone, Summer Rides the Surf, provides CRIT Rate, SPD, Elation, and Skill Point support. Players who need a broad support may prefer Phase 1, while accounts ready for a specialized high-speed Elation team may get more from Phase 2.

The Version 4.5 rerun characters and four-star rate-up units are currently unknown.

Alternate forms such as Robin • Summeretto and Aventurine • Waveflair are separate playable characters with new kits, Paths, roles, and equipment needs. Pulling the original version does not automatically unlock the alternate form.

Mortenax Blade & Yao Guang — Phase 1 (Jun 1 – Jun 22)

Mortenax Blade was the new five-star Fire character following the Signature Path of Blade. His Ultimate deployed a special combat Zone and moved him into an enhanced state with a transformed model. While the Zone was active, enemies took increased damage and allied attacks built Charge for an automatic out-of-turn Skill classified as a Follow-Up ATK.

Phase 1 Light Cone: Reforged in Hellfire, Mortenax Blade’s signature five-star option for his enhanced-state damage.

Cyrene & Phainon Rerun — Phase 2 (Jun 22 – Jul 13)

Cyrene and Phainon returned with their signature Light Cones This Love, Forever and Thus Burns the Dawn. This phase gave players another chance to complete one of the stronger established duos before Version 4.4 began.

Stellar Jade Savings Guide for F2P Players

F2P players typically earn 2,000–2,500 Stellar Jades per patch (roughly 13–15 pulls). A guaranteed limited 5-star usually costs 100–130 pulls (16,000–20,000 Jades).

Plan to save for 2–3 full patches if you want a guaranteed character on a future banner.

HSR Rerun History & Predictions
