The first mistake in a Hyacine build is treating 200 SPD as a pass-or-fail requirement. She can sustain a team before reaching it, but her third Bonus Ability does not activate until her SPD exceeds 200. That breakpoint adds 20% Max HP to Hyacine and Little Ica, then converts every additional point of SPD into 1% Outgoing Healing. It is a large upgrade, not permission to use the character.
The second mistake is building her like a conventional healer. Hyacine is a 5-star Wind character on the Path of Remembrance, and her healing is also Little Ica's damage resource, so Outgoing Healing Boost, HP, SPD, and Ultimate uptime all affect more than survival. The practical build is Outgoing Healing Boost body, SPD boots, HP% Sphere, and Energy Regeneration Rate Rope, with SPD > HP% > CRIT DMG in substats. In the current Version 4.5 environment, her strongest homes are no longer limited to an older Castorice core; she can also cover the repeated HP loss in Mortenax Blade teams while supporting several attackers through her signature Light Cone's debuff.
What Should You Fix First in a Hyacine Build?
Start with her rotation, not a showcase SPD number. Hyacine has 110 Base SPD and another 14 from Traces. SPD boots are mandatory for a normal support build, while Warrior Goddess of Sun and Thunder and Giant Tree of Rapt Brooding each contribute 6% SPD. The full Cavern set supplies another 6% while Gentle Rain is active, and her signature Light Cone adds 18%.
This creates two sensible stopping points. 180 SPD activates the stronger healing tier of Giant Tree of Rapt Brooding. More than 200 SPD activates Tempestuous Halt and begins the SPD-to-healing conversion. If an account cannot cross 200 without dropping the Energy Regeneration Rate Rope or replacing good HP pieces with weak relics, stay at a stable 180 build and improve it gradually.
| Build Stage | What to Use | What to Do Next |
|---|---|---|
| Early functional build | Correct main stats and as much SPD as available | Keep Little Ica and After Rain available; do not force poor relics for a number |
| 180 SPD | Full sets or strong 2-piece SPD combinations | Activate Giant Tree's 20% Outgoing Healing tier |
| 201+ SPD | Endgame set with reliable Ultimate uptime | Gain 20% Max HP and start converting excess SPD into Outgoing Healing |
| After the breakpoint | SPD, HP%, and CRIT DMG substats | Take efficient SPD rolls, but stop sacrificing large amounts of HP for small gains |
CRIT Rate is not part of this farming problem. Gloomy Grin already gives Hyacine and Little Ica 100% CRIT Rate. A CRIT DMG body may look attractive on a damage screenshot, but it weakens the healing tally that fuels Little Ica's attack. Outgoing Healing Boost is the better body because it improves sustain and the resource behind her damage at the same time.
Why Does Hyacine Not Play Like a Normal Healer?
At Level 80, Hyacine has 1,087 Base HP, 388 Base ATK, 631 Base DEF, 110 Base SPD, and 140 Max Energy. Her Skill summons Little Ica and restores HP to the team. If Little Ica is already present, the Skill is still useful as an active heal and as a team-wide cleanse after unlocking Stormy Caress, but Hyacine does not want to spend a Skill Point every turn just because she can.
Little Ica covers the space between those active heals. It begins with Max HP equal to 50% of Hyacine's Max HP, remains at 0 SPD, and does not enter the normal Action Order. When an ally loses HP, Little Ica checks at the start of a target's turn and after a target acts, consumes 4% of its own Max HP, and heals the injured ally. This is especially useful when allies spend their own HP because the recovery follows the team's actions instead of waiting for an enemy turn.
After Rain is the real rotation window
Hyacine's Ultimate heals the team and activates After Rain for three of her turns. During that state, all allies gain Max HP equal to 30% plus 600. Little Ica's reactive heal also becomes a team heal, and it takes an extra turn to use Rainclouds, Time to Go! after every Hyacine ability.
That is why SPD changes how the character feels. A faster Hyacine receives more actions, and each action during After Rain can produce another Little Ica attack. More attacks mean more Energy, more damage conversions, and more opportunities to refresh effects tied to Little Ica. SPD is improving the engine, not merely moving the healer earlier in the Action Order.
The Ultimate's duration falls at the start of Hyacine's turn. When the Ultimate is ready during her own turn, use it before the action that should trigger Little Ica so the team immediately enters the stronger window. Saving it until after the action wastes one possible connection between Hyacine and her memosprite.
The healing tally rewards sustained combat
Whenever Hyacine or Little Ica heals, Little Ica gains an 80% DMG increase for two turns, stacking three times. Their healing is also added to a battle-long tally. Rainclouds, Time to Go! deals AoE Wind DMG equal to 20% of the current tally, then clears half of that stored healing.
The remaining half carries into the next calculation. If the tally were 100 before an attack, that attack would calculate its damage from 100 and leave 50 behind; new healing would then be added to the remainder. Hyacine therefore ramps through an extended fight instead of producing her full personal damage at the start of every wave.
Most of that healing should still be useful healing. Deliberately taking uncontrolled damage just to inflate the tally is a poor trade, especially against enemies capable of acting twice or applying delayed damage. HP-consuming teammates and her signature Light Cone already provide safer ways to create healing opportunities.
Her cleanse has a timing limit
Stormy Caress gives Hyacine 50% Effect RES and makes her Skill and Ultimate dispel one debuff from every ally. The coverage is excellent when several characters are affected, but it is not automatic. Hyacine must act, so against fast Crowd Control enemies, SPD and Effect RES can matter more than another HP substat.
Little Ica is immune to debuffs, and using Skill or Ultimate while it is already present removes Crowd Control from it. That protection prevents the memosprite from becoming the weak point of the sustain loop, but it does not make the rest of the team immune.
How Much Does the Signature Light Cone Change Her Build?

Long May Rainbows Adorn the Sky changes both the relic requirement and the teams that gain the most from Hyacine. At S1 it provides 18% SPD. After Hyacine uses Basic ATK, Skill, or Ultimate, the cone consumes 1% of every ally's current HP. After Little Ica's next attack, it adds one instance of damage equal to 250% of the total HP consumed and resets that amount.
The small HP loss gives Little Ica a reason to heal and can feed mechanics that watch for HP reduction. When Little Ica uses its Memosprite Skill, all enemies also take 18% more damage for two turns. This is a genuine team debuff, so it helps every attacker rather than only Hyacine or another Wind character.
The cone is not risk-free. Consuming 1% of current HP is normally easy to recover, but a teammate already sitting at critical HP may not receive Little Ica's heal before the next enemy action. In difficult content, check the Action Order before using a Hyacine ability instead of assuming the signature's HP cost can never matter.
Memory's Curtain Never Falls is the lower-cost route. At S1 it adds 6% SPD, and after Hyacine uses Skill it increases the team's DMG by 8% for three turns. The effect fits her normal rotation, but it does not reproduce the signature's 18% enemy DMG Taken, HP-loss trigger, or larger SPD bonus.
Without the signature, do not keep recasting Skill only to maintain the DMG buff if the team needs Skill Points elsewhere. Hyacine can use Basic ATK after Little Ica is established and still perform her main sustain job. The free cone makes 200 SPD harder, but it should not turn a normally Skill Point-positive healer into a drain on the team.
Do You Need a Perfect Four-Piece Relic Set?

The long-term answer is 4-piece Warrior Goddess of Sun and Thunder. Its 2-piece effect gives 6% SPD. After Hyacine or Little Ica heals another ally, Gentle Rain lasts for two turns, adds another 6% SPD to Hyacine, and gives all allies 15% CRIT DMG. Her kit triggers the effect through normal play, so the full set supplies team damage without adding a special setup action.
A 2-piece SPD plus 2-piece SPD combination is still the correct temporary choice when it is the only way to reach the next breakpoint. The full set's 15% team CRIT DMG is valuable, but losing 15 or 20 SPD to wear four weak pieces can make After Rain less productive. Switch when the four-piece set preserves the rotation rather than as soon as four pieces exist in the inventory.
Giant Tree of Rapt Brooding is much harder to replace. It gives 6% SPD, then increases Hyacine's and Little Ica's Outgoing Healing by 12% at 135 SPD or 20% at 180 SPD. Both thresholds reward the same stat the rest of her kit needs.
Use an HP% Sphere and Energy Regeneration Rate Rope. Hyacine's 140-Energy Ultimate controls the Max HP increase, stronger team healing, and Little Ica's extra attacks. An HP% Rope produces larger individual heals, but a delayed Ultimate removes an entire layer of the kit. ERR is the stable choice unless a highly specialized rotation has already proven it can maintain After Rain without it.
What Should You Level Before Farming Perfect Relics?
Unlock all three major Bonus Abilities first. Gloomy Grin supplies the 100% CRIT Rate and improves healing on allies at or below 50% HP. Stormy Caress provides Effect RES and the team cleanse. Tempestuous Halt creates the 200-SPD breakpoint that the endgame build is designed around.
For ability levels, start with Little Ica's Memosprite Talent because it controls the reactive healing pattern. Follow with Ultimate for the Max HP window and active recovery, then Skill. Level Hyacine's Talent and the Memosprite Skill after the sustain core; both improve personal damage, but neither should delay the healing mechanics that keep the team functional. Basic ATK is last.
This order also prevents inefficient relic farming. A character missing key Bonus Abilities cannot be repaired by another week of Cavern runs. Secure the fixed upgrades first, equip correct main stats, and only then chase the difference between 180 and more than 200 SPD.
Which Teams Actually Gain More Than Healing From Hyacine?

Robin • Summeretto + Castorice + Cyrene + Hyacine
This Remembrance team uses nearly every part of Hyacine's kit. Castorice spends 30% of the team's current HP with her Skill and gains Newbud when allies lose HP. Her Contained Dark Tide Trace converts healing received by allies into Newbud, or into Netherwing's HP while the memosprite is present. Hyacine supplies the recovery, raises the Max HP pool during After Rain, and adds another controlled HP-loss event when using her signature.
Robin • Summeretto gains Vibes when allies attack and when healing or Shields are first provided during a target's turn. Little Ica's healing helps move Robin toward Fever, while Robin's Zone supplies DEF ignore for the whole team. Cyrene contributes a team DMG increase, True DMG through her Zone, and additional interaction with allied memosprites.
Use Hyacine's Technique before combat when possible and establish Little Ica before Castorice begins the heavy HP-loss cycle. Robin's Ultimate normally advances Castorice. Advancing Hyacine is a recovery option when After Rain would otherwise fall off, not the default damage play.
Aventurine • Waveflair + Ashveil + Mortenax Blade + Hyacine
This team is built around attack frequency. Ashveil launches Follow-Up ATKs after other allies hit the Bait. Mortenax Blade can add an extra Skill treated as a Follow-Up ATK after building enough Charge. Every extra attack helps Aventurine • Waveflair gain Fervor and Punchline.
Mortenax Blade consumes 10% of his Max HP with Skill and 20% with Ultimate. Hyacine keeps that cycle safe without forcing Mortenax to slow down, while Long May Rainbows Adorn the Sky adds an 18% DMG Taken debuff that all three damage dealers can use. Her role here is less about powering one dedicated HP carry and more about allowing an aggressive team to keep attacking.
The Skill Point economy is more comfortable than it first appears. Mortenax Blade's Skill does not consume Skill Points, and Ashveil can refund one when using Skill on an enemy already marked as Bait. Waveflair receives most of the available Skill Points, while Hyacine uses Skill for the opening summon, a needed cleanse, or recovery that Little Ica cannot cover. Do not recast it every turn.
What if the team does not consume HP?
Hyacine remains a capable sustain. She offers reactive healing, a team cleanse, Max HP, and positive Skill Point economy after setup. Warrior Goddess adds 15% team CRIT DMG, and her signature can make enemies take 18% more damage. Those are useful effects in an ordinary CRIT team, but part of her design is being left unused.
Replacing a sustain who already clears comfortably is therefore an account decision, not an automatic upgrade. A Castorice or Mortenax Blade account receives both safety and mechanical synergy. An account that only needs healing should compare the pull cost with the value of a new damage dealer or support on the Honkai: Star Rail banner schedule.
Where Should You Stop: E0, S1, or E1?
E0S0 already contains the full healing loop, cleanse, Max HP increase, and healing-to-damage conversion. It is the correct stopping point when pulls are limited. The cost is relic pressure: Memory's Curtain Never Falls supplies less SPD, so the route from 180 to more than 200 takes better substats.
E0S1 is the easiest strong build. The signature reduces SPD pressure, creates controlled HP movement, adds personal damage, and applies 18% enemy DMG Taken. It improves Hyacine in both of the recommended 4.5 teams and usually costs fewer pulls than obtaining a character Eidolon.
E1 is the more specialized team upgrade. During After Rain, allies gain another 50% Max HP and recover HP equal to 8% of Hyacine's Max HP after attacking. Frequent attackers trigger that recovery repeatedly, while HP-scaling characters gain a much larger pool. If an account already crosses 200 SPD without the signature and is committed to Castorice or another HP core, E1 can matter more than making the build easier.
E2 raises an ally's SPD by 30% for two turns after that ally loses HP. This is powerful in teams that can trigger it consistently, especially when Hyacine already has her signature, but it is luxury investment. E4 converts excess SPD into CRIT DMG for Hyacine and Little Ica. E6 reduces the healing tally consumed by Little Ica's attack from 50% to 12% and grants 20% All-Type RES PEN to the team. Neither is a sensible target for an ordinary F2P plan.
What Should You Pre-Farm for Hyacine?

| Upgrade | Materials |
|---|---|
| Hyacine Lv. 1-80 | 308,000 Credit; 65 A Glass of the Besotted Era; 15 Fear-Stomped Flesh; 15 Courage-Torn Chest; 15 Glory-Aspersed Torso |
| Listed Skill Plan | 2,221,500 Credit; 6 Tracks of Destiny; 12 Bīja of Consciousness; 54 Seedling of Manas; 102 Flower of Ālaya; 9 Lost Echo of the Shared Wish; 33 Fear-Stomped Flesh; 48 Courage-Torn Chest; 30 Glory-Aspersed Torso |
| Long May Rainbows Adorn the Sky Lv. 1-80 | 385,000 Credit; 4 Bīja of Consciousness; 12 Seedling of Manas; 15 Flower of Ālaya; 20 Fear-Stomped Flesh; 20 Courage-Torn Chest; 14 Glory-Aspersed Torso |
The skill total above follows the supplied leveling plan rather than assuming every optional Trace node is maxed. Before spending the last weekly materials, check which personal-damage nodes the final build will actually use. Farm the ascension boss and weekly boss first, then secure the fixed Remembrance Trace upgrades before spending large amounts of Trailblaze Power on marginal relic improvements.
Practical Questions Before You Finish the Build
Is Hyacine bad below 200 SPD?
No. She still summons Little Ica, heals, cleanses, raises Max HP, and converts healing into damage. A build above 200 SPD is substantially better because it activates Tempestuous Halt and gains more useful actions, but 180 SPD with correct main stats is a functional intermediate build.
Can Hyacine use an HP% Rope?
Only when a tested rotation already maintains After Rain. The 140-Energy Ultimate controls too many parts of her kit to delay casually. Energy Regeneration Rate is the default; an HP% Rope is a specialized choice, not an upgrade just because it produces a larger healing number.
Does overhealing still help Little Ica's damage?
The supplied kit records healing done by Hyacine and Little Ica, but that does not justify building around meaningless overhealing. Their best teams create real HP loss repeatedly, allowing the same healing to protect the party and fill the tally. Use natural HP consumption rather than exposing the team to unnecessary enemy damage.
Is Hyacine only worth using with Castorice?
No. Castorice has the clearest direct synergy because she uses both HP loss and incoming healing. Mortenax Blade also values repeated recovery, and any damage team can use the relic CRIT DMG and signature DMG Taken debuff. What changes is pull value: Hyacine is easier to justify when the team uses more than her healing.
What is the final farming priority?
Finish Level 80, major Bonus Abilities, the important healing skills, and correct main stats. Reach 180 SPD, then work toward more than 200 without dropping the ERR Rope. Once that breakpoint is stable, improve HP% and CRIT DMG substats. Stop farming when a new piece only changes the displayed SPD while making Ultimate uptime or actual survivability worse.
