Long Fei is a Generation 5 Mythic Infantry hero available through Hero Roulette and the Swordland Showdown Shop. His Conquest kit becomes strongest below 50% Health, where Above and Beyond reduces incoming damage and Mountain Mover increases his Attack. Ambrosia adds a four-second window of increased Attack Speed and control immunity.

That combination makes Long Fei difficult to finish once his low-Health effects activate, but his self-healing does not come from his base skills. It requires Immortal’s Flask, so his performance changes considerably depending on the level of his exclusive gear. The best stopping point also depends on whether you mainly use him in Conquest combat, Arena, Expedition, or city defense.

Long Fei build guide covering his Kingshot skills, Infantry gear, and Immortal's Flask breakpoints.

Long Fei Build Overview

  • Generation: 5
  • Rarity: Mythic
  • Troop type: Infantry
  • Unlock sources: Hero Roulette and Swordland Showdown Shop
  • Core mechanic: Gains additional durability and Attack below 50% Health
  • Exclusive gear: Immortal’s Flask
  • Conquest priority: Above and Beyond, followed by Mountain Mover and Ambrosia
  • Main exclusive-gear decision: Choose an odd-level Strong Brew breakpoint for Conquest or an even-level Strategic Strike breakpoint for defense

Long Fei Skills and Level Scaling

Long Fei’s skill descriptions are usually shown at their highest level, which can make a newly unlocked copy look stronger than it currently is. The following table separates the level scaling from the fixed parts of each skill.

Skill Mode Effect Level Scaling
Ambrosia Conquest Increases Attack Speed and grants control immunity for 4 seconds 80% / 90% / 100% / 110% / 120% Attack Speed
Above and Beyond Conquest Reduces damage taken while Long Fei is below 50% Health 20% / 30% / 40% / 50% / 60%
Mountain Mover Conquest Increases Attack while Long Fei is below 50% Health 16% / 24% / 32% / 40% / 48%
Mighty Paragon Expedition At maximum level, gives all squads a 40% chance to reduce damage taken by 50% Damage reduction reaches 50% at maximum level
Celestial Sustenance Expedition Increases the Defense of all squads 5% / 10% / 15% / 20% / 25%
Art of War Expedition At maximum level, gives all squad attacks a 25% chance to deal 200% damage Maximum effect shown

How the Low-Health Kit Works

Above and Beyond and Mountain Mover activate under the same condition. Once Long Fei falls below 50% Health, he simultaneously takes less damage and gains more Attack. This is the core of his build and the main reason he should not be evaluated only by his full-Health performance.

The threshold does not make him invulnerable. A large burst can still defeat him before the defensive effect creates enough value, especially when Immortal’s Flask is not sufficiently upgraded. Long Fei benefits most when he survives the transition below 50% Health and remains active long enough to use his increased Attack.

Does Long Fei Have Control Immunity?

Ambrosia grants control immunity for four seconds. Its duration remains fixed while its Attack Speed bonus increases from 80% to 120%. Additional skill levels therefore improve the amount of pressure he creates during the window, but do not make the immunity last longer. Immortal’s Flask can extend the Ambrosia window by another 1.5 seconds.

Long Fei Skill Upgrade Priority

For a general Conquest build, I would prioritize the skills in this order:

  1. Above and Beyond
  2. Mountain Mover
  3. Ambrosia

Above and Beyond receives the highest priority because its damage reduction increases from 20% to 60%. Keeping Long Fei alive below half Health gives both Mountain Mover and his exclusive-gear healing more time to work. Mountain Mover is next because it increases his Attack under exactly the same condition.

Ambrosia remains valuable, especially in control-heavy Conquest or Arena encounters, but its four-second duration does not increase with the skill level. If crowd control is the main reason you are using Long Fei, bringing Ambrosia up earlier can make sense, but the passive low-Health pair should not be left far behind.

Expedition Skill Priority

Mighty Paragon is the strongest general defensive priority because its successful trigger can reduce a large amount of incoming damage. Art of War adds offensive variance, while Celestial Sustenance supplies a consistent Defense increase without relying on a chance-based trigger.

For a balanced Expedition build, use Mighty Paragon > Art of War > Celestial Sustenance as a starting order. For a formation that needs predictable durability more than additional damage, Celestial Sustenance can move ahead of Art of War.

Immortal’s Flask Upgrade Breakpoints

Immortal’s Flask provides Long Fei’s self-healing through Strong Brew and improves Defender Squads through Strategic Strike. These two skills advance at different exclusive-gear levels, so stopping at an odd or even level produces different results.

Exclusive Gear Level Strong Brew Strategic Strike What the Level Adds
1 Restores 7% of damage dealt during Ambrosia Not unlocked Introduces self-healing
2 7% Defender Squads Attack +5% First city-defense bonus
3 9% +5% Improves Conquest sustain
4 9% +7.5% Improves the defense bonus
5 11% +7.5% Second major sustain increase
6 11% +10% Practical defensive breakpoint
7 13% +10% Strong Conquest breakpoint
8 13% +12.5% Higher Defender Squad value
9 15% +12.5% Maximum Strong Brew healing
10 15% +15% Maximum Strategic Strike bonus

Level 7 is a sensible target when Long Fei is used mainly in Conquest or Arena because it raises Strong Brew’s healing to 13% of damage dealt during Ambrosia. However, it does not improve Strategic Strike beyond the 10% bonus unlocked at level 6. Players building specifically for city defense should compare level 6, 8, and 10 instead of assuming level 7 is automatically the best stopping point.

At maximum level, Immortal’s Flask provides Infantry Lethality +111% and Infantry Health +111%. These are maximum values and should not be confused with the stats of a level 7 flask.

How to Allocate Long Fei’s Hero Gear

Exact Helmet, Gloves, Chest, and Boots levels cannot serve as universal breakpoints without accounting for the player’s existing Infantry gear, available Upgrade Ore, and whether Long Fei is replacing another main hero. A fixed recommendation such as “every account should stop at level 60 or 80” can waste resources when the account already owns a stronger piece or needs the same Ore elsewhere.

If Long Fei is entering your main formation, start by moving your strongest suitable Infantry gear onto him before creating new pieces. Prioritize Gloves and Chest when they provide the most useful offensive and defensive improvement, but do not leave Helmet and Boots so far behind that one weak slot limits his ability to survive below 50% Health.

If he is a secondary formation or situational defender, avoid rebuilding an entire gear set immediately. His skill levels and Immortal’s Flask breakpoint may produce more relevant value than pushing every equipment slot to a predetermined number.

Long Fei Stats at Five-Star Maximum

The following values represent Long Fei at five-star maximum progression. They are not his statistics at the moment he is unlocked.

Stat Five-Star Value
Hero Attack 3,780
Hero Defense 4,928
Hero Health 73,926
Infantry Attack +444.35%
Infantry Defense +444.35%
Maximum Immortal’s Flask Power 499,500

Where Should You Use Long Fei?

Conquest and Arena

Long Fei’s complete low-Health interaction is active here. Above and Beyond reduces damage, Mountain Mover increases Attack, and Ambrosia provides Attack Speed and temporary control immunity. Once Strong Brew is unlocked, damage dealt during Ambrosia also restores Health. His main limitation is surviving the initial burst and reaching the low-Health window without being defeated immediately.

Expedition

His Expedition kit combines two chance-based effects with a consistent Defense bonus. Mighty Paragon can reduce incoming damage, Art of War can produce a high-damage attack, and Celestial Sustenance improves squad Defense. Results can vary when the chance-based skills fail to trigger, so formation strength should not be judged from one battle report.

City Defense

Strategic Strike is the part of Immortal’s Flask that specifically supports Defender Squads. The bonus increases at exclusive-gear levels 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10. A player investing in Long Fei mainly for defense should stop at one of those even-numbered levels instead of spending for an odd Strong Brew upgrade that primarily improves his Conquest sustain.

Is Long Fei Worth Investing In?

Long Fei is most attractive when you need a Generation 5 Infantry hero for your main formation or city defense. His base kit already provides damage reduction, additional Attack, squad Defense, control immunity, and chance-based Expedition effects. Immortal’s Flask adds the sustain that completes his Conquest build and a separate Defender Squad bonus for garrison use.

Universal Manuals and exclusive-gear resources should still be allocated according to how often he enters your main formation. If he is only a temporary Infantry option, stop at a functional skill and flask breakpoint rather than treating maximum investment as mandatory. Players comparing him with heroes from other generations can use the Kingshot Hero Tier List, but tier placement should be considered together with generation, star level, exclusive gear, and game mode.

For rally, Arena, and solo team planning beyond Long Fei’s individual build, see the Kingshot best heroes and formations guide.

Long Fei Build FAQ

Does Long Fei heal himself without Immortal’s Flask?

No healing effect is included in the three Conquest skills listed in this guide. His self-healing comes from Strong Brew after Immortal’s Flask is unlocked. Strong Brew restores between 7% and 15% of the damage he deals during Ambrosia, depending on the exclusive-gear breakpoint.

What is the best Immortal’s Flask stopping point?

There is no single stopping point for every account. Level 7 provides 13% Strong Brew healing and retains the 10% Defender Squad Attack bonus unlocked at level 6. Level 8 raises the defense bonus to 12.5%, level 9 maximizes Strong Brew at 15%, and level 10 maximizes Strategic Strike at 15%.

Which Long Fei skill should you upgrade first?

Above and Beyond is the general first priority because its damage reduction supports the rest of his low-Health kit. Mountain Mover follows for additional Attack. Ambrosia can move earlier when its Attack Speed and control-immunity window are especially important to your Conquest or Arena formation.

Are 3,780 Attack and 73,926 Health his unlock stats?

No. The 3,780 Attack, 4,928 Defense, and 73,926 Health values shown above are five-star maximum statistics. A newly unlocked Long Fei will not begin with those values.

Is Long Fei only useful for city defense?

No. Strategic Strike gives him a specific Defender Squad function, but his low-Health passives, Ambrosia, and Strong Brew are designed for Conquest combat. The correct investment depends on whether you value his individual combat performance, Expedition skills, or garrison bonus most.

Are there gift codes specifically for Long Fei?

The supplied information does not confirm any Long Fei-specific code. General promotional codes may provide account resources, but rewards should be checked before assuming they contain Universal Manuals or Upgrade Ore. Current codes are listed separately in the Kingshot gift code guide.
